My first Arduino project was to build the Arduino rover. This project enhances on the basic functions of the Arduino as it incorporates the use of a motor shield which fits on top of the board. The final product is able to sense and avoid objects in its path whilst being controlled by a home built Bluetooth mobile application. The rover is fully equipped with head and tail lights as well as a horn, all which is activated through the app.
This mobile application is a home built controller for my Arduino Rover. Built using mit app inventor, it allows communication between the mobile phone and the Rover.This application has the ability to send the rover forward, backwards, turn left and turn right as well as activating the front and rear lights and horn. The sliders at the bottom allow rotation of the front servos to which I plan to attach a camera.
